The elementary and JH will perform a series of most excellent songs on May 12th at 6pm in the auditorium. Mrs. Richison will be the conductor and everyone is welcomed!
The 8th grade promotion will be held May 21st at 5:30pm. The promotion will consist of students capturing the moment on poster boards to be displayed in the commons. A dance will follow at 7pm till 9pm. We are looking for parent volunteers to bring in desserts that evening.
The GLN National Honor/Jr. Honor Society will induct this year's selected nominees on May 14 at 5:30pm in the auditorium. Everyone is welcomed.
The GLN HS prom is scheduled for May 9th. The court starts at 5:30pm followed by a dance. Any questions, please contact Mr. Berner at the school.
A handful of GLN students have advanced to the state music tournament and are scheduled to leave May 7th. Good luck students and thanks again to Mr. and Mrs. Richison!
GLN HS and JH will perform the play Peter Pan on May 5 & 7 at 6pm. StuCo will be serving a spaghetti dinner before Tuesday’s performance at 4:30 – 6 and desserts during Thursday’s intermission.
There will be a special ASB meeting on Thursday April 30th at 5:30pm in the Loft. The agenda will be on any/all student handbook changes, to include new attendance guidelines.
Eleven Glennallen Middle School students participated in the first NASP St. Jude Charity Shoot last evening. Numerous community members and parents attended and watched the competition. Matt Gregory shot the highest overall score of 259/300. Autumn Gregory shot the highest score for the girls with a score of 226/300. Sydney Shedlock collected the highest value of pledges with a total of $254.40. Joseph Brendan was a close second raising $246.00. The total donation made by Glennallen Middle School archers to St. Jude Hospital was $1073.15. Thanks to Ben Dolgner, Chad Gerlach, Rebecca Schwanke, and all of those involved with sponsoring kids, providing the archery kits, and especially the students for taking the time to shoot for charity.
A Carl Perkins grant meeting will be held in the GLN library Thursday April 30th at 4pm. Everyone is welcomed.
