Mrs. Brown......what is going "down" in your GHS Science Class? These fine students enjoyed exploring freshwater life, learning about PH levels, importance of water temperatures, and much, much more in Moose Creek this year. Are you passionate about science, Mrs. Brown is the life in our school. This year she taught Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Marine Biology. Ask our students about her zealous pursuit in her classroom instruction. If you share the same passion look at enrolling this Fall to get a piece of the ACTION! Denali Conference - CHAMPIONS - Glennallen Panthers Wrestling Team is State Bound Huge shout out to our wrestlers as each of them secured their place to attend the AASA State Championships this weekend at Chugiak High School. First time in GHS history for the entire team to be competing. Staff/Student Fun Day at Glennallen Middle and High Schools as we recognize our Panther Wrestling Team and their Regions this weekend. Fun was had by all.... Donut eating contest, Tic-Tac-Toe games, and the highlight Sumo wrestling. Confident this will be a tradition for years to come at Glennallen Schools. Special thanks to our district leader, Mrs. Ashton, for joining the festivities and to our Student Council for their work in organizing this fun event.

Fun continues at Glennallen Middle/High School this week with Spirit Week!! Marvel Monday and tomorrow......Military Day. Come on Glennallen students time to knock down GMS/GHS staff for this competition! As of today......Staff leads!!!

Glennallen 5th graders on the move.......getting ready for next year. Last week the 5th/6th grade classes spent some time together and these teachers swapped classes. What a fun day for these students to engage in a different setting. Go Panthers and we look forward to our 5th graders transitioning into our Glennallen Middle School in the 2021/2022 school year!!!

Mrs. Brown and Mr. Dale exploring Valdez with CRSD students. They learned about the Valdez oil spill, effects of tide pooling, and Prince William Sound Citizens Advisory Council that was formed after the Exxon Valdez oil spill which provides a voice for citizens affected by decisions related to the Alyeska pipeline terminal and associated tankers. Just another incredible opportunity for our Copper River School District students and our Glennallen High School staff!!
