Dear Parents and Guardians,
Glennallen Schools and Upstream Learning will resume tomorrow. Portables will be placed outside the school buildings, and hand sanitizers will be placed in all portables. There will be three portables located in the elementary area, three in the middle/high school area, a portable in front of the school workshop, and one located at the district office.
Because Glennallen schools were not in the flood area, the schools water was not affected; therefore, the boil-water notice does not pertain to Glennallen schools.
If your child has a water bottle, he or she can use the water fountains that are available in the school to fill their bottles. There will be additional water delivered to the classrooms, as well.
Lunch will be provided as sack lunches.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call your child’s school.

Glennallen High School Graduation will be held at the Kluti-Kaah Hall in Copper Center at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16.
Due to flooding, all schools are closed Tuesday, May 16. Updates to come.
GHS students- take note!!
Due to the internet outage, our schools do not have phones at this time. For bus notes and other time sensitive needs please contact the radio station at 907-822-5226. They will get your message to the schools. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we wait for the internet to be restored.
It's teacher appreciation week! A huge thank you to all of our hardworking teachers! With your perseverance and hard work, you are shaping our future. We appreciate all that you do. Thank you Teachers!
The Kenny Lake School Quarter 4 awards assembly will be on Thursday, May 25th at 10:30 with the Community-wide/School picnic to follow at noon. Please bring a dish to share, the picnic is potluck style. School dismisses at 2:00 that day. This is the last day of school so come on out and welcome summer in with a picnic.
There will be a presentation tonight from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on the AK Reads Act, which will be implemented as a K-3 intervention reading program throughout Alaska schools. You may zoom into the meeting with the barcode on the attached image or you may come to Kenny Lake School to view the presentation. Find out what this act will look like at your child's school by attending the presentation.
Glennallen Middle/High School Spirit Week starts tomorrow! It will be Wednesday-Friday of this week, then Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Mrs. Hodges 3rd - 5th grades Wax Museum is Wednesday, April 26 from 1-2 pm at Kenny Lake School. Everyone is invited to come out and see our kids' hard work. We are hoping to have lots of visitors!
