This is to let you know that Kenny Lake School continues to be open. We do have a number of students out due to a variety of reasons. In the event that the school should have to close its doors, all parents will be notified. If you have any questions, please call the school office at 822-3870.

Does your child need glasses? If your child is migrant &has a current eye prescription, they may receive up to 3 pairs of glasses via CRSD Migrant Ed to wear at home, at school and for sports. Contact one of our Migrant Recruiters to get you set up!

Well....well....Mrs. Brown is already in full swing with her LABS in her classes. GHS students get ready for an EXCITING year in her classes as she has much, much more happening this year! These students are working on triple beam balance, calculating and measuring volume. Sounds like some competitions are already happening.

Ms. Patterson's Middle School science students are deeply involved with the "Marshmallow Tower Stem Challenge". Teamwork, Engineering Design, Mass Distribution and most importantly SMILES! Ms. Patterson has it happening this year in her classrooms. Can't wait to see what else she has in store for her GMS students!

GLENNALLEN HIGH SCHOOL 2020-2021 DII Wrestling Team State CHAMPIONS ~Return to the mats on Wednesday, September 29th. Head Coach Trenton Culp will be holding practice daily starting at 4pm. I am writing to let you know that today I tested positive for Covid-19. According to my doctor, if you were within 6 ft of me for more than 15 minutes at any time since last Friday, August 20th, get tested if you are showing any symptoms, if no symptoms you should test on days five and seven from the first exposure. I was not with any child for more than a few minutes today. I will be cleared to re-enter the building on Sept. 2nd. This is not the way I wanted to start the school year but it is what it is. I encourage all families to remain vigilant and practice safety Covid precautions. If you have any questions or concerns about exposure, please talk with your doctor. Take care and stay healthy. MANDATORY PARENT MEETING from Coach Purcell: WHEN: Monday, August 30th @ 5pm WHERE: Glennallen High School Commons Hello, potential CRSD volleyball players! The time has come to get our season rolling. We will be having a MANDATORY parent meeting on Monday, August 30 at 5 pm in the Glennallen Commons. At this meeting we will discuss the season schedule, sign pertinent paperwork (ahh...the fun part), hear about the team expectations, meet each other, and answer as many questions as possible. All students MUST fill out the required info found at registration on planeths.com. In addition, students MUST have a completed school physical on file with the school PRIOR to their first day of practice. Athletes will NOT be allowed to practice without BOTH of these being completed. BTW: Our first day of practice will be WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, from 5:30-7pm in the Glennallen gym. I'm sure there will be lots of details to come and many things that I will need help with, as this is my first year coaching high school for the district. Let's help each other have a great year!
