On Friday March 24th, Glennallen high school will be hosting a job fair organized by CRNA. 9th - 12th students will have access to the job fair from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM. In addition to possibly securing a job for this summer and exploring potential career opportunities, there will be door prizes and food! There will be an auction & dinner fundraiser to help Toa Finau's family and Frances Jackson with their medical expenses on Saturday, March 25th in the Glennallen School Multi-Purpose Room from 4:30-7pm. Dinner will be Indian Tacos, Chili, and Dessert for $15 per person. If you'd like to donate an item for the auction, please contact the numbers on the flyer. 8th - 11th Graders: The Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program (ANSEP) is accepting applications for its Summer 2023 Acceleration Academy. Students will live on the UAA campus and take one or two college courses in math or science. Participants also engage in fun STEP career exploration projects. The program is runs from May 27th, 2023 - June 30th, 2023 at the main UAA campus. Tuition, books, room and board, housing, airfare, and ANSEP activities are at NO COST to families. Seniors: The Alaska Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers will be offering scholarships to eligible students for the 2023-2024 school year. In addition to the application, each student must also submit an official transcript. The transcript must be sealed, officially certified by the school, and include Fall 2022 final grades. Applications will only be accepted via mail or email. All applications must be received on or before Sunday, April 30th, 2023. Late applications will not be considered. To be considered eligible for the scholarship, you must be a graduating Alaska high school senior who will be enrolled at an accredited university as a full-time college student for the Fall 2023 semester in a curriculum leading to an undergraduate degree in engineering, including petroleum, chemical, mechanical, electrical, environmental, or civil, or an earth sciences field, and intend to seek future employment in the petroleum industry. Migrant Ed Seniors: "Each year the National Association of State Directors of Migrant Education (NASDME) awards one or more scholarships to graduating migratory high school seniors to enable them to enter college. The scholarship, named after a staunch advocate for migratory students, is intended to assist migratory agricultural or fishing students who are dedicated students with a significant financial

Alaska Works Partnership Inc. would like to raise awareness of the role Career and Technical Education (CTE) plays in preparing students for successful careers. From March 13 to 17, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Alaska Works Partnership Inc. will be offering two trainings in Anchorage: Carpentry and a "Deep Dive" into Sea-Going Jobs. They also have a Carpentry class in the Mat-Su Valley.
"These are incredible opportunities for students to get a hands-on taste of the trades, learn valuable skills, and determine if a career in the construction or maritime fields is right for them. And the best part? It's all FREE!"
This training is open to all students enrolled in a high school program (public, private or homeschool).

Senior Parents/Guardians and Students: On Wednesday 02/22/23 there will be a graduation meeting from 6:30- 7:30 PM.
